Project Accountants was built to support businesses operating in increasingly complex financial, operational and regulatory environments. 

We recognised a growing need for specialist expertise beyond the traditional consulting and recruitment model. Firms needed experienced professionals who could integrate quickly and provide flexible support across accounting, fund operations and compliance. 

What began as a project focused accounting support model has evolved into a technology enabled specialist services network supporting fund managers, fund administrators, trust companies, family offices, commercial businesses and professional services firms across multiple jurisdictions. 

Today, we support clients through projects, co sourcing and outsourcing arrangements, helping them strengthen operations, improve reporting and navigate evolving regulatory requirements.

Hamza is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Project Accountants Ltd.

He leads the strategic direction and growth of the business, overseeing a global specialist team supporting fund managers, fiduciary businesses and other financial services organisations across accounting, fund operations and compliance.

Hamza has played a key role in the growth and development of the business, with a strong focus on building a world class team, delivering exceptional client experience and establishing long term client relationships across multiple jurisdictions.

He is focused on developing a high performing and collaborative culture, driving operational excellence and supporting clients through evolving regulatory and operational environments.

Hamza is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 15 years of experience gained across Big 4 firms and listed companies across audit and financial reporting. He has worked with clients across private equity, banking, real estate, fiduciary, utilities and commercial sectors, with extensive experience across regulatory, reporting and operational environments.

Ali has played a key role in developing the firm from inception into a growing business, establishing high-performing teams and implementing structured delivery frameworks capable of supporting complex and evolving client requirements.

He specialises in improving delivery consistency, strengthening team coordination, optimising resource utilisation and implementing practical processes that enhance both client experience and overall business performance. His experience includes managing geographically diverse teams, improving cross-functional collaboration and implementing scalable frameworks to support growth.

Ali is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 14 years of experience within the financial services sector, specialising in investment management, operational delivery and scalable business growth across multi-jurisdictional environments.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience gained with Deloitte and within the financial services sector, Rahat specialises in financial reporting, technical accounting, fund operations, and technology-enabled transformation. He works closely with clients to deliver practical solutions that strengthen reporting, improve controls, streamline processes, and support the evolving requirements of complex multi-jurisdictional fund structures and regulated businesses.
